The Governing Of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma met on Monday, 27th February, 2017. Council at the meeting reviewed the developments in The University in respect of the lingering protest over school fees Council, after due deliberation resolved as follows:

That all students should pay their school fees and restitution fees of 6,000 (Six thousand Naira) on or before Wednesday, 15th March, 2017

That any defaulter will be considered to have voluntarily withdrawn his/her studentship

That all students, except those admitted in 2016/2017 session, should deposit evidence of their oath Of Good Behavior (CLICK TO DOWNLOAD AND PRINT AFFIDAVIT AS TO BE OF GOOD BEHAVIOUR) with their respective Faculty officer

That on the other hand, the restitution fee payable by all students, except the students admitted in the 2016/2017 session is 6,000 (Six thousand naira)

That for the avoidance of doubt, the school fees regime payable per session by all students admitted in the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 session is hereby produced below:

AAU Ekpoma IJMBE Admission Form is Out – 2016/2017

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) programme of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma for 2016/2017 session.

The Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) is a national examination body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria and fully certified by Nigeria University Commission (NUC) as an alternative to ‘A’ level Examination, for candidates who may wish to seek for undergraduate admission into Universities both in Nigeria and abroad. The IJMBE programme was envisioned as a stop-gap or bridge after secondary school education, which will prepare candidates academically, mentally and socially for the challenges of University education. The programme runs for a period of twelve (12) calendar months divided into two (2) semesters.


AAU EKPOMA IJMBE COURSES & SUBJECT COMBINATIONS.
Each candidate for the IJMBE programme is expected to offer three (3) combinable subjects at the Advanced Level relevant for pursuance of a University degree on successful completion of the IJMBE programme. These combinations relate to Direct Entry requirements for various programmes of study in the university as specified in the JAMB brochure.

AAU EKPOMA IJMBE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS & DURATION.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/WASC/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB which must include English Language and Mathematics. At least, three (3) of the credits must be in relevant subjects.

ADMISSION TO UNIVERSITIES USING IJMBE RESULTS
Candidates who have successfully completed the IJMBE programme may seek admission into 200 level in Ambrose Alli University or any other Nigerian University via JAMB Direct Entry (DE) form. IJMBE result does not require JAMB UTME/Screening Exercise for admission.

Candidates may also use the IJMBE results, being an Advanced Level qualification similar to Cambridge or London Advanced Level qualifications, to seek admission into foreign Universities.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME
Twelve (12) calendar months divided into two (2) semesters.


HOW TO APPLY FOR AAU EKPOMA IJMBE.
The application form will cost #17,250.00 (Seventeen thousand, two hundred and fifty naira)

DURATION OF APPLICATION
Application forms for the IJMBE Programme will be available online for completion and submission from Monday, 5th December, 2016 to Thursday, 5th January, 2017.

EXAMINATION
Candidates may be required to sit for a written examination on a date to be announced later.


IMPORTANT NOTICE
Candidates who had already applied for admission into the Foundation Programme (Pre-degree) for 2016/2017 session and are interested to convert to the IJMBE Programme can do so. It should be emphasized that for other candidates who still want to continue with the Pre-Degree Programme will be allowed to do so.
