Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK sandwich programme admission form for the 2016/2017 academic session is out.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Sandwich Programme for the 2016/2017 academic session. The 2016/2017 UNIZIK Sandwich Form has been released and is now on sale at the UNIZIK Sandwich Office.

The Sandwich Unit of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka offers various courses leading to the award of Bachelors Degree in Education during Easter and Long Vacation period.

UNIZIK Pre-Science and Pre-Degree Admission List - 2016/2017

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK has announced the release of it's pre-science first batch admission list for the 2016/2017 academic session.

This is to inform all the candidates that applied for the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka pre-science programme admission for the 2016/2017 academic session that they can now check their admission status online.

As at the time of this publication, UNIZIK pre-science/pre-degree 1st admission list is not yet online. The list is accessible at the notice board in utility building. Those list are for the 1st batch.

Admitted candidates are advised to note that registration starts on 1st February, 2017.

Prospective applicants are further reminded that the application date has been extended to January 31st.

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) wishes to inform all the candidates that participated in the university admission screening exercise that they can now check their admission status.

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has commenced the upload of merit admission list for the 2016/2017. Candidates should check their names as the upload is gradual. It is expected that the upload would have been completed by noon time.

HOW TO CHECK UNIZIK ADMISSION LIST.

The checking has to be through the portal (http://portal.unizik.edu.ng/) all candidates registered and it is free. Those who are successful should immediately head to UNIZIk to start registration as the University has resumed for all final year and fresh students.

UNIZIK Sales Of Pre-Science Form 2016/2017

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK, has announced the Sales Of Pre-Science Form for the  2016/2017 Academic Session which Is now On.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the 2016/2017 academic session of prescience program, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

QUALIFICATION

The minimum academic qualification is five O’level credits which include English, Mathematics and any other three relevant subjects in WAEC, NECO, GCE, and NABTEB at not more than TWO sittings.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

The following procedures should be adopted by

the candidates:

Come to ICT registration point at Hall 6 Utility Building (upstairs) and generate RRR for application form fee payment with the sum of N200.

With the RRR printout, proceed to any bank within the campus for payment of the application form fee of N8,000.

Come back to the registration point at the ICT registration point at Hall 6 Utility Building (upstairs) for online registration with the sum of N300.

RETURN OF COMPLETED FORMS

Candidates should then proceed to the prescience general office to submit a photocopy of the application form printout with photocopies of the claimed

qualifications attached to the application form.

Deadline

Sale of forms end on 31st December, 2016.

Screening Test Notice to UNIZIK Prospective Postgraduate Students – 2016/2017

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK has released an important information for prospective postgraduate students as regards their screening test.

This is to inform all the prospective postgraduate students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) that there shall be a screening test for all applicants for admission into the 2016/2017 academic year.

The admission screening test shall comprise three parts: Part A, Part B and Part C.

• PGD candidates shall participate in only Part A;
• Masters candidates shall participate in Part A and Part B;
• PhD candidates shall participate in Part A, Part B and Part C.

Below is some description of the Parts.

Part A

Part A shall comprise two sections

Section I: Language Aptitude Test

Section II: Analytic Aptitude Test

Question Format: Computer Based Test (CBT)

Part B

Test in Discipline and/or Area of Study: The questions in this Part shall be drawn from the first degree curriculum of the department/area of study into which the candidate is seeking admission.

Question Format: Computer Based Test (CBT)

Part C

Defence of Proposal: PhD candidates shall present and defend the Proposal submitted while completing the admission application form online.

Date of Screening Test

Screening Test shall take place from Monday, 14 November to Friday, 18th November 2016. The specific date for each faculty/candidate shall be communicated subsequently.

Venue

All candidates shall undergo the test at the Awka Campus of the University. The specific Venues for each candidate shall be communicated subsequently.

Processing Fees and Payment Schedule

The following is the schedule of fees payable by each candidate for the screening test

PhD Candidates: N7,000 (Seven thousand naira only)

PGD and Masters Candidates: N5,000 (five thousand naira only)

Dates for Payment: Payments must be completed before Wednesday, 9th November, 2016

Payment Procedure:

1. Log on to www.remita.net
2. Click on “Pay a Remita Customer/Biller”
3. Click on Pay once
4. On the “Who do you want to pay” dialogue box, type NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY, AWKA – 1000128
5. On The “Name of Service/Purpose” dialogue box,
6. For PGD and Masters, search and click on “UNIZIK PG Screening Test Operations (Masters and PGD)
7. For PhD, search and click on “UNIZIK PG Screening Test Operations (PhD)
8. Enter other relevant information
9. Click on “proceed to payment” to generate your RRR. Print the “RRR” (Remita Retrieval Reference Number) and proceed to any bank of your choice within or outside the University to pay for the Screening Test. A printout will be given to you at the bank after payment.

NOTE: THE PROCESSING FEE MUST BE PAID ON OR BEFORE 9TH NOVEMBER, 2016 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE SCREENING TEST. ONLY CANDIDATES WHOSE PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY 9TH NOVEMBER, 2016 SHALL RECEIVE THE FINAL INVITATION FOR THE SCREENING TEST.

UNIZIK 2016/2017 1st Batch Merit Admission List

Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK, has Released its 2016/2017 1st Batch Merit Admission List

This is to inform all 2016/2017 aspirants of Nnamdi Azikiwe University that the UTME 1st Batch Merit List has been compiled and forwarded to JAMB For approval, but due to the fact that many aspirants didn't complete their online registration, it wont be so partial to release the merit list as many who are supposed to be in the merit list won't be there due to incomplete registration and am not sure it will be release until the online screening registration is officially closed unless there will be batch A and batch B merit lists. The aim of sending the list to JAMB is for jamb to go through the list and make correction if necessary, and also make sure that the people shortlisted for merit admission are qualified ones.

JAMB is expected to endorse (sign) the list of those shortlisted after going through it, store the name in their data base and then forward it back to UNIZIK. So from the look of things now, if Jamb could be fast about this, The truth is that the list would then be sent to the office of the VC and registrar respectively for final approval, and then after the list would then be upload on unizik portal for accessibility.

NOTE: Please bear in mind that other institutions that are through with their admission screening exercise for this year are also expected to forward the list of those they shortlisted for primary/merit admission to Jamb for approval.
